code 20 has been flashing since i did the swap and i have been told that it really means nothing. and i have to change the idle air controll valve and the last code that i think my problem lies in is the tdc, could this be a timing problem?

ELD code 20, does NOT throw your car into limp mode. (Engine light doesn't come on because of it).

ELD may be occuring because of the other codes.. Like you said car shuts down along with radio (electrical).

ELD code means its time for a new under hood fuse box as the ELD unit is an integrated part of it

That's not necessarily true..

When I swapped my H22, I got the ELD code off a P13 Ecu.
Once I got my Chipped P28 going, the ELD code never appeared.

defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor ..

The ELD measures elecrical load in the car, it helps the ECU anticipate what it needs to do to hold the idle speed steady.

It won't keep your engine from starting & running.

ELD = measures electrical load - used to determine if the alternator should be in low or high output mode.

The car will run fine with that code.

I would double check the timing on the car since you're getting code 8. Make sure everything is at TDC.

As for the engine and radio shutting off.. I'd make sure that all your power connections at the battery are good. Sometimes if the battery is not secured.. the positive terminal can short itself out against chassis ground and cause all electricals and engine to shutoff for a sec.
