Would the air filtyer and removing the air silencer help at all/ i know removing the air silencer on my stang is 10hp dyno'd. anyone know? Also i have full 2 1/4 exhaust with a fart tube. What do u think im at?

that's to the flywheel.
As for the mods you have so far, you're probably somewhere around 127, that's if the motor is running perfect.

that's flywheel hp. With the exhaust and air silenceer I'd guesstimate +5 hp?

your probably pushing 105-110 hp at the wheels... you gotta take d16's apart to get anything note worthy from them...

Well i have a US 95 civic ex coupe (EJ1), its an EX not SI in the states. It came with the 125hp d16z6. The 1999-2000 US SI's have the 160hp b16a2.

sometime it's not just the horse power of the car.
you can have a 200hp car but u can still beat them
but they are heavy like a f*ker. that's the reason y
if you are talking about the same car and wif different
engine inside than you'll know which one is faster.
also sometime it's all about the driver too..
maybe you did beat the cavalier but maybe they didn't
even race...

reasons you can beat a sunfire

1. your car is lighter than a sunfire.
2. your car has a wider powerband than a sunfire.
3. sunfires are built in america.
4. sunfires are turds
5. sunfires are built in america.
6. the sunfire could have been automatic
7. hondas are mad tite fast y0!
8. sufires are built in america. (didnt i say that already?)

Actually Jay, that's where you are wrong, Civics are built in America (in this case probably Canada) and Sunfires/Cavaliers are built in Mexico. We found 3 Mexican beer caps under a buddy's spare tire... scary...

Travis, does your vin start with a "1" or a "2"?

you wont beat a sunflower....
120hp vs 160hp

come on now... and i'd imagine their torque is WAY higher, and that's what comes into play... TORQUE.

My vin # starts with a JHM... What does that mean??

LOL.

I suspect you could beat a Sunfire/Cavalier, they are built like crap. My Mom has one and it drives terrible. IT'S EVEN NEW (2003).

JHM means Japan built Honda... same as mine mad tyte jDm

I saw a Civic get raped by a Sunfire yesterday while I was filling up. They were at a stoplight by the gas station, and I heard a little squealling, and then the sound of angry hampster powa as the Civic was eating Sunfire dust. got beat by a good 3-4 car lengths.
