ZC DOHC in COUPE need help...

hey guys, havent posted on here for awhile but anyways, my friend has a 93 si coupe with a ZC dohc motor he swapped in now i am not sure if it is VTEC or not to begin with which is the first problem.
Second problem, the car runs rich and gets really bad gas mileage and does not go over 3500 rpm???????
Third problem, i believe he is using the d16z6 ecu( si motor) in the Zc and i dont think that will work.

anyhow thats it for now for all i can remember so if anyone can help me so i can help him and get hiz car back on the road again would be good. thanks....

I don't think they made any ZC's with Vtec. I'm pretty sure you can run the ZC with a P28 ecu if the engine is an OBD1. If it's OBD0 then you need to run a PM7 or chipped PM6 would be ok too. Since it's in a 93 Si, I'm assuming its a OBD1. You have to see what code's the ecu is throwing.. without that it's pretty hard to troubleshoot.
