ok so i have a short ram intake all hooked up but no way to properly and securly mount it.. it came with a peice of metal but that doesn't do anything, it just sits on it, doesn't attach and bends real easy.. its rubbing against my a/c hoses and has worn though the insulation and is now damaging the filter element

how would i go about mounting it, or where could i get a new tube that has a small bracket welded to it so it would just bolt in one of the holes left from taking the air box out

my bracket reaches a taped hole on top of my valve cover (but it is also specifically ment for that, as per instructions)... try bolting the braket to the valve cover...or anywhere else that the bracket can reach...it sounds like you go one of those universal type mounting kits...basically you have to be creative...

Could you post some pics?

Is the pipe steel or aluminum? If it's mild steel, look me up the next time you're in mississauga, and I'll tack that bracket onto it for you, no charge.
