I'm planning on changing the stock cd-deck in my 2002 SiR ... however, I noticed that the "shape" of the deck isn't a perfect rectangle.. the right side of the deck conforms to the shape of the panel which is slightly curved...

just wondering if anyone has replaced their factory deck with a new one and how it looks etc...

any decent stereo shop should be able to get you one..
almost identical to the stock one, but the area where the deck slides in is squared off..

Ya, they have dash kits cuz they do installs there. May have to order it, but they usually have a whole whack in stock. A local shop charged me $20, and they are like $10-15 at the Shop. Same with the wiring harness.

I was searching for it since July last year and was never able to find one. Everyone believes that the 2001+ civic fits the SiR but it's not true. I had to buy the 2001+ kit and modify it to fit the SiR.

I have one in my car! Got it from East Hamtilton Radio. Costed me like 75 bones though! And it is black, looks ok but it would of been nice to be in Silver! Oh well, will take pics later if you want?
