idle problem????

idle problem????

i have a 91 civic si with a dohc zc, it runs finebut the idle jumps from 750-1250 all the time when the car is at tempiture. it is pretty annoying i get to a set of lights and the idle is bouncing? any suggestons?

its your fast idle valve

its the part where the 2 coolant hoses run to attached to ur IM/ TB ----f blocks are on the IM and H and f22-dohc are on the TB...

B blocks have this right below the TB.....

all u have to do is clean it if not fudged or replace it..

im selling an JDM h22 TB which has this.. let me know

its 62 mm and SHOULD FIT.

i have to check where this is on d blocks....


OR

COULD BE A VACCUM LEAK.

I had the Idle jumping on my b18 swap. it was a vaccum leak. air has to be coming into the intake manifold behind the throttle body. check those lines. mine was the brake booster line. plus the line from the valve cover to the intake helped to.
