I have a SOHC ZC in my sedan an got the basic bolt on's (i,h,e) and i felt a little difference but now I'm going turbo, since on a d series its the best bang for the buck, or nitrous.

BTW... wouldn't you rather blow just a crappy untouched motor, than to blow one with like $3000 of work into it? just look at it this way and boost will be much closer than you think.

If you are really set on staying NA I say bang for the buck, the Akmee cam and valvetrain is amongst the best, you're not going to find too many d series lovers on here, check out d-series.org for all your researching needs. The d16z6 is no better than the d15b, building it is no more a waste of a time than a z6 would be (as long as we're talking about the the japanese vtec one). I also have a d15b and after looking into it a little more I decided to supercharge it, very fun and lots of torque, it'll kill an ls, b16 or b20 on only 6psi. It's all up to you though, turbo's another great method, endless possibilites with a turbo.

is the crower cam any better? i've been reading about how some replacement cams tend to be noisy.
