JDM D15B Engine Build & Install (Lots of PICS) what you can do @ home (PART II) LOOK

Hey guys I had a post about a motor build before, well on Friday night i was riding with a black hatch on the 401 and i know the motor was about to go because

of my NOS use I blew my motor. I had a big cloud of black smoke come out at 110/h and cover the highway. Than a loud knocking started and the car died.

Tried to start it but there was a pile of oil underneath.

Let me walk you though my weekend.

This is what the motor looked like when i got towed home. Not that bad eh ?

Lets start taking her out.

Jack her up.

Headers off & Valve cover off

It dont look to bad under there, what could it be ?

Tried to get the axels out, that did not work. Had to manuver the motor around to get it out with the axels in. This is hard if you dont have a hoist, but

Jacks will work with alot of time. ARGG.. got that bitch out..

Wow Those pistons are not like they are suppose to eh ?

The red looks kinda Dirty eh ?

Lets paint over it ... lol

Looks good eh ?

Ok..so you built your old motor yourself, and a piston/rod broke apart.

What makes you think that this engine that you just built will last any longer?
