Good look finding one

My friends have been looking for REASONABLY priced civics for months now. Found a couple, but they sell to damn quick. In fact, good luck finding any Honda that isn't severly over priced. If I was you, i'd go for a 4th gen (hatch, crx, or sedan) cause they are more abundant and aren't as overly priced as a 5th gen. You can still do a b16 swap, 4th gens are lighter, cheaper to buy, and most importantly 4th gens are cheaper on insure. People will argue that they are UGLY but that's subjective.

Look on autotrader.ca

Set it up to email you when a Civic within your place range comes on the market.

Check your email daily.. It might take a while..

It took me about 4-5 weeks before one came on the market that I liked and I snagged it within 1 day of it coming out.

Realistically.. $4,000 for a 5th gen hatch is gonna be tough to find.. You are more looking in the 5-7 range for anything half decent.

Regards,
OK

I like the look of both 5th and 6th gens.
but if used I'd go for a 5th gen for it's lighter weight (hatches are 200lb lighter) and huge aftermarket.

cool

yea thanx happy, that would eb great. I'm currently in a neon club with my brother (he's 20), the club is neoncanada. I feel that i can make hondas go faster for cheaper. I think the 4th gens look good. I have seen some nice ones on the road.

man.. I WISH i still had my 4th gen.. 89 Si hatch.. the sunroof was the best thing i ever had.
honestly, with a little TLC and a few $, the 4th gen hatch does up SOOO sweet. wings west kit, coffee spoiler, rims and lowered.. that's the stylin way to go, and insurance won't rape you as bad. (I've got a 5th gen coupe now, and 310$/month hurts)
If ya have any questions in regards to the 4th gen's, e-mail me @ rbius@rogers.com - between myself and my frinds we have 3 still on the road.
what I want back in my 2nd Gen.. 87 BAYBEE!! heh, 4 on the floor, sipped the gas and was DIRT CHEAP to keep going.
ah well.. all in progress I guess
