same question as above?...what is the difference between the two, my 00 SI prop valve has 6 brake lines, the SIR has 4, my car is ABS equipped and i want it to work, which one should i use. I am currently using a USDM SI prop valve, and theABS is non-functional, and the light is on all the time (quite annoying)

i have a 96 si... its rear drum with all 4 abs... if i do a rear disc conversion, and i'm not changing the prop valve, it doesn't hurt that much of the rear performance right?

If your running non-abs disc brakes...get a 90-93 integra prop valve.

To the thread starter, if your using ABS SiR conversion then you need 95+ integra rear disk prop valve(40/40) equal distribution between the front and rear

so basically if you are running 99-00 SIR rear brakes you should have a 99-00 SIR prop valve. but does this valve have 4 brake lines or 6. My 00 SI has 6 lines going into the prop valve, while the SIR one only has 4.

i don't see why you need to change it unless you track your car or something. i didn't bother to change mine when i did my rear disc swap. the car stops on a dime and performs great on the track.

it's said that hatchbacks have the 'other' prop valve because of their lighter weight. therefore, it's the same as the SiR prop valve ( at least that's what NovaDust says). Coupes and sedans have to swap to the SiR.

integra prop valve doesn't fit on an EK platform, he will need the SiR prop valve.
