cause it's cheap and you can drive without spray for as long as you want and when you want that extra power you can access it. There is nothing wrong with spray

i hate when people call n20 NOS.....nos is a brand of nitrous oxide.
Why would you wanna butcher a ghetto *** setup?
I've seen too many nasty *** ghetto setups that suck, and end up causing more harm than good.

look, the original poster misused the word boost... he meant 'boost' his horsepower... he didn't mean boost as in positive manifold pressure. how do I know? cuz he's talkin cams and chips and ****.
anyways... a $6000 build on a sohc gets about 150 hp at the wheels... that's a ***** out build with the best available parts and tuning.... maybe get 160 whp with some ITBs and a 8500 rpm redline.
a turbo setup like mine (which I consider a 'budget' build that is designed to last and perform like OEM) costs about $4000. anything less is a compromise.
bottom line is he's got a $1000 budget and already has IHE as I understand. injectors, FPR, cams, etc.... they won't produce hp... (well maybe the cam will, but will require tuning and springs and retainters, then valve job etc.) so it's prolly out of his budget as well... and will only get him like 15 whp max.
whoever said injectors... WHY??? why would he need injectors at this point?
I still think wet nitrous is the way to go here.

At least the 8-grand symphony won't run out and have to be refilled.....
Anyways back to shaza's questions....
I haven't dealt with nitrous before, but if you want that extra kick at the push of a button....best power gain per dollar imo, though I hate to admit it...lol.
Good luck with your mods. Listen to these guys, they seem to know their stuff.
I know squat about nitrous....so I'd like to learn, even if I never install or use it.
