Neil hotrod can only done if the displacement is larger. Unless his model came with a 1.5L he cant do a hotrod test.

You are telling me that the displament in that single overhead cam engine would be more than the displacement on a double

I didn't say more.

They are both classified as 1.6L's.

They are both 1.6L so unable to test as a hotrod. Any other suggestions as to why its not buring all the fuel?

iridium plugs and nology wires would be my guess...put in some correct plugs and some normal wires...hell do a cap and rotor too

i find those iridium plugs to be junk

by high test do you mean 91 octane or something? because running higher octane will make your results worse.. if high test doesnt mean high octane then never mind what i just wrote.

Well - just had my timing checked from a friend at Honda and it was off 6 degrees advanced. Hoping that solves the problem. Shouldn't be the plugs or the wires.
