ba6a1 story
hi i have a crx vtec euro spec with chip(dyno it to 8hp),spoon head gasket,5 star 9.5 wires , 54 exaust, free flow cat.
before 1 week i put a new 4 2 1 header with very good power gains at 4000 to 8000 .this week i will trye to put b16a2 intake manifold and thortle body....so is a kn style cone filter beter than my stock air box with kn ? i have already put out resonator.....cai is out of game as i live in greece and the winter raining all the time .....is some kind of holes above engine can help reduce engine temp? or is beter to put oil cooler?

get a J's Racing intake for crying out loud, dyno numbers have proven that it has better gains than a AEM CAI
Hood vents are useful as it will allow the hot air of the engine to escape much better than a stock one I guess you could say it's more "fresh air" entering into the engine bay

Hood vents are questionable.... very much so. Anytime you **** with airflow, you better have a wind tunnel to prove your results.
The engine bay is a sensitive area to be messin around with air pressure, cuz it's balanced from the factory so that it maintains decent flow in there. Changing much of anything there may result in a real mess... not that you'd notice, but from a technological standpoint it would be a disaster unless you made a ram air intake separate from the rest of the compartment.

i have see that intake here as top fuel and as simota.....but i think is for the b16a2 civic only as in my crx didn t fit well....
with my 4 2 1 header i have see more than i expected results....
but i dont know the brant ..it was 2 hand janspeed i think...
