No doubt about it, the swap must be fun, but is it really worth the money in comparison to the perfromance gains. To me, no it's not, maybe bolted up to a civic chassis, yes.
I was shooting a price for a civic but there's a few parts less required for a b16 into a integra, and this is talking about the b16a1 not a2.
The integra is designed for a 1.8 and the car will best perform at that size motor or larger. As I said above, it has been tested and ran at the track and the times speak for themself. Also never ever compare a street race on the street to back up your points b/c it aint going to work nor does it make sence b/c there can be dozens of issues with both cars/drivers and I don't even want to get into that.
It may run more money to build the ls vtec motor but if you work on motors on your own and don't pay for labour costs it's definintly worth every penny at the end. I've been looking into tegs for a long long time now and when I do get one, the setup I mentioned is what im using or a b18c1 or b18c5 with a ys1 cable tranny.

haha ya my spelling get's fucked up when I type fast and I'm way to lazy to fix it...and YES I am in grade 1 you simple bastard.....and I'm also 14 years old jsut to clarify with all you guy's...franks are bullshit unless you have lot's of money....adn yes they are a ricer thing that's all what the **** talk abotu "yoyoyo I got that mad fast h22 in my 88 rust box civic....but I blew it up casue I was usign to much NAAWWWsss so I'm gonna do that lsvtec...mad fast" anyone who actually knows **** about motors knows that it is a waste of time unless you are just wanting to make one for bragging rights...you need alot of machinging including a gsr girdle good rods pistons and somthing to tune it liek a haltek..or a afc at least. You can tell I hit a soft spot cause everyone jumped on me. I'm probobly older than half of the douches on this board...so dont' talk abotu ls vtec like you know anyting cause you don't
