There is a new shop, and a guy that works there knows all about Swaps in any Honda. It's called SNS Racing. Talk to my boy Dave.
If he ain't there ask for his cell. The even got a in house machine shop. Check them out.

what shop wouldn't love to do a zc, there so damn easy to do, even a rookie can install a zc in a 4th gen civic b/c they are so basic to do. A B16 is going to cost you around $1600 for tranny, ecu, etc. plus the mounts $600 and drive axles and shift linkages and whatever around $100 for used **** at a wrecker. Plus a decent shop will charge you around $600-700 labour so add it all up. around $2800 plus you have to do a tune up to that motor, timing belt, water pump, plugs wires, fuel filter, etc around $300-$400 installed. So around $3400 you'll have a mint B16 installed in your car running beautifully.
On the other hand the zc is around $600 with tranny plus $100 for an ecu. That's all you need for the swap. A decent shop shouldn't charge much, i didi the zc swap with my frineds, it was easy. A ZC installed should cost around $1400 with the tune up.
Good Luck with the swap

i agree with My Blue Si. In order to get the SI-R done right you got to pop off the greens on the tune-up parts. Make your motor run decent. i might also add depending on whether it's an SI or DX model with change labour price. for a DX requires some rewireing for the SI-R or ZC swap. If you have an SI you just add like 3 or 4 wires. but if its a DX you have to rewires to accomidate the four injectors instead of the two
