soory my bad ...the redline is at 9000 rpm...

but there's something to do with 8300 rpm on the s2000. I'm sure of it. I think its when ur supposed to shift.

thats eveything..

1st gen B16 = $900

Mounts = $400-$600

Drive shafts = $90 each

Shift linkage $80 - $150 (depending where you get it)

ECU plus chipping = $150 - $200

Install (includes V-tech and fluids = $800 - $1000

Total $2580 ><

If you pay anymore then $3000 your on crack

B16's are a dime a dozen

Reason the H2.2 was so rare was the mounts but cost has come down allot

H2.2 mounts for civic applications $700 front re-bar replacement for EK's extra

H2.2 (depending on year and transmission) $1500 - $2500 ($2500 would get you LSD witch is the B transmission I believe)

Mounts = $700

Little parts
i.e. accord mid shaft $50
Custom shafts from Joe at altech $600(higher guest-a-mit cuz I forget the price he told me)
Accord cable linkage $100
ECU $100
Install $1200

Total $5500 ><

Only problem with the H2.2. Is the front suspension.

Guys toss this motor in there civics and get civic spring rates

Even the tegz spring rates will let the front dive
No one ever thinks to up the rates and kill the under steer in the corners

I’m sooo sick of hearing H2.2 civics do this on the track and H2.2 civics won’t do that on the track
Or
H2.2 civics suffer from under steer

That’s such bullshit

I’ve seen stock egg civics on the track that suffer from under steer

Guys get the B16 cuz there taught B16 = Civic
B18 = tegz
H2.2. = Accord and lude

I love seeing the guys come in the shop that think
Hmm ok
$2400 for the install
Then when they get the bill it’s closer to $3000

They forget the SI-r and tegz mounts cost money
The rad hoses cost money
The wiring costs money
Oil cost money

Just to correct you I didn't have a freind that installed it for free. I was right in there getting my hands dirty too.

LOL yah sure I stood around alot LOL.

That first day yah but the next few I was right in there.

LOL you and your 1st gen LOL Rick at RT Motorsports who I didn't even get the engine off of already determined it's a 2nd gen cause of 2 major things that people overlook and it was confirmed with the guys on Honda-tech also cause they told me what to look for. On the block where the oil cap is if you open it up and look inside there are bars in there and the difference in the material of the little bars determines if it's a 1st or 2nd gen I checked and Rick checked and it was easy to tell it was a 2nd gen...also on the vtec solenoid right beside it there is a stamp of a "30" if it's a 2nd gen and nothing if it's a first gen. I checked and the "30" stamp is there. hehe I know there was some confusion before but it's a 2nd gen LOL

Your a joker cluster...Can't wait till those summer nights getting home at like 8:00am from being out all night chillin with tha boys and shooting the ****.

I think the motor was found in the 88 to 91 civic SIR in japan (don't quote me on that) as for what it is it's a d series block with DOHC instead of a SOHC....don't know much more about specs on it ...

Good work guys I'm impressed.

I bumped into one of those fast accords man.
I was having fun right up to 4th gear man.
I would never take an accord lightly anymore
and it wasn't a V6 and iI didn't hear any whistles.

There a big battle out there and its called
Battle of the Imports baaaby!
