You want a turbo with less lag and bigger *****? Well the bigger turbo the more lag you get. So go with smaller turbo than t3t4 and it will have less lag. To get more power of it go with higher psi for turbo but you will have to do internals.

use the available compressor maps for a specific turbo you're interested in to help you choose which turbo will be the most efficient for your setup.

Reading compressor maps is kinda confusing though, so you've got a lot of reading to do.

That's probably a good call. I was going to say it would help if we knew which t3/t4 you had (trim, a/r)...but the answer above probably covers that.

how about a gt30r with a .63ar turbine housing to slighty speed spool but still mad power potential. or just brake boost it.

a GT30R or GT35R .63 a/r will work pretty good on a b16 (from past experiences).

I'm using a GT3255E on mine and its great.

Gt3076r. Great Range with a minimal amount of lag. Although try to get a .48 housing to help with spool times.

If you want any reading material to help understand compressor maps and such you could check out the following link or do a search for Maximum Boost by Corky Bell in PDF , it should be somewhere on rapidshare;

Amazon.com: Maximum Boost: Designing, Testing, and Installing Turbocharger Systems (Engineering and Performance) (9780837601601): Corky Bell: Books
