I would suggest, rebuilding your motor.. YCP Pistons, Eagle Rods, Valve Train and put together a custom Turbo kit. With some good tuning and everything you can hit over 300WHP on a SOHC.

i used to be all for boosting my d series, till i drove a kswap

if your looking for a wicked engine and something that you wont be swapping out again 5 years down the road go k series
you could turbo your d series, drop in a b18c1, or go frank (and end up needing a new motor down the road anyways from franking you head/block) but your still gonna be running a vtec motor

kswap sure is expensive, but its worth every penny imo. it will only get cheaper, and with a decent turbo setup (proly cost ya around 2k) and a stock motor tuned of course, you could be pushing 350 DD. just think 5 years from now when parts are cheaper how much power you could get

of course, you could always frank a kseries with a k24 bottom end and a k20a2 top end and build it for 330ish na

but as everyone says, what do you want to do with it?
are you willing to spend money on it? you want to future proof your build? or you just want something easy and real quick?
