Shop and price for engine swap

I'm looking to do an engine swap for my ek. I got the motor already, I'm just wondering what's a good and price for a mechanic to install my engine only, not transmission. Any good shops?

I'm most likely either going to put another stock d15b sohc vtec engine on my 98 civic hatchback because my engine is having some problems. How much would that cost me?

unless the car is just a daily and you're looking for fuel effiiciency... if you're swapping, you might as well try to get a bit more power out of it... if you want to retain efficient... try the b18 ls motor... or if you're willing to lose a little bit of efficiency and go for a bit more power... b16... the only difference is... you'll be jumping from oct87 to oct91... for installation cost... they should be closely similar, but of course doing a d15 or d16 would be easier since you're just changing the exact motor basically...

Usually I charge $600 for a B..

I only do them for certain customers though.. so nobody pm me asking for a swap. Unless you'll pay 800$.. then i'll do it, lol.

I've heard of some shops charging $500.. but anything below 500, i'd question the shops ability and education.
