Failed Emmissions "NO PPM" fail
#21
You get a 50-100$ tune-up. and get them to quote you on the cat and all the other stuff and make sure its over 450 and your good.

1. make sure your cat is in good operating condition
2. make sure your O2 sensor is good aswell
3. check your timing, make sure it's not advanced. (I'd retard it atleast 10 deg. from stock timing...)
4. do your tune-up, dist cap, rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, oil change, oil filter.
5. put in sunoco 94 octane gas
6. make sure your car is warmed up before hitting the test centre
Btw, Hi NOx reading means you're running too lean, cause of this is your timing, it might be too much advanced. (not sure if your car has an egr valve, i doubt it).
Hope everything works out for you!
