anyone run BRE?
Im just looking into tuning programs to run on my b16 turbo obd0.Using pr3 ecu. . I know i can convert to obd1 and get more options but this way its cheaper and should work out well.

BRE's lack of being able to manually force "open loop" makes it difficult to properly tune a car.
Not to mention is so far behind in development compared to the OBD1 rom editors most people have strayed away from the OBD0 stuff.
The OBD1 rom editors available for hondas/acuras are something most other cars tuners wish they had available for their cars. Seriously, the options and features of Neptune/Hondata/eCtune rival the best standalones out there. I don't know why you would want to settle for beta max (obd0) when blueray (obd1) is available.
Hell, even crome is better than the obd0 stuff and crome sucks large compared to Neptune/Hondata/eCtune.
I don't know about way cheaper to stay obd0.
Chipped p28 - $125-150
Obd0 to Obd1 conversion harness - $50-100
Obd1 distributor - $50 (for a used one) - $250-400 (for a new one).
Realistically you can convert to obd1 for about $250, which is very cheap compared to the $2000-5000 you'll spend on turbo parts
