Can anyone run a VIN # for me?

I'm purchasing an engine and the seller gave me the VIN #, so I though that I'd check it out. I'm wondering if anyone can help me? Please PM. Thanks.

because it's the government and it gives out tons of details ... hell I know a board member that was thinking of buying a car in a used car lot and took the vin grabbed the used vehicle package and using 411 looked up and located every owner the car had and asked them stuff about the car ....

lol thats how people steal cars. They take your VIN # and get someone who works for honda to get them the keys.
