What to look for in buying used 01 Prelude SE?

It has <50K, no accidents, fairly stock (cold air intake, exhaust, H&R Sport, and deck).

Thanks

so what are you asking? take the car to a mechanic to make sure its mechanically sound... if the owner wont allow that or the mechanic give it the thumbs down dont buy... same as with purchasing any used car

you shouldn't judge how good the car is by a test drive... test drive to a mechanics cause everything may seem find but something could be just waiting to bust

only 2 major recalls with the lude are the ignition assembly and front ball joints, see if they have been replcaed under recall

Ball joints #1 issue...and you have to make sure they were replaced properly. I have had mine replaced 3 times, and the problem was the dealership screwed up and damaged the housing the first time.

Ignition assembly does not apply to 2001, that was fixed prior to 2001.
