I wish I had paid my way through school .. but with a school that required 8 to 5 everyday for 2 years straight with only a 2 week summer break and a 2 week Christmas break I was worn out...
I was also in debt up to my eyeballs

Actually oddly enough i was talking about this exact same thing to a full timer where i work (as a summer job). He was just pointing out that even though most college/uni courses give you a lot of information that you end up never using..its the fact that you spent the extra time to develop your education, it shows a lot of character. On top of that higher paying jobs require a lot of testing and without the education you would be FUBAR'd...so waste of time or not, i personally wouldnt want to find myself with just a gr 12 education 10-15 years down the road if i got laid off at my future job.
as for the original poster...it sounds like you have never worked a day in your life. If you want a full time job hit up places like jobbank.ca..talk to some people and see if you can get your hands in some construction for the summer..that will set you straight.

13-15 an hour seems pretty avg for office/admin work...dont expect much higher pay with these types of jobs....i find its more work for less pay....that kinda crap

hey buddy..i just finished my bachelors of science in nursing.. and im taking my board exam next week for the RN registration. it is offered at GB as a collaborative from ryerson university. As people have said..you want decent pay fine..if you want to bling...look elsewhere.
but in all honesty... nursing can get u into many different fields...im starting at around 55-60k per year.. you can go upwards to 110-120 000k's if you play ur cards right. ie. pharmacuetical sales, nurse anesthesis...etc..
