hey guys...my vavle cover seal blew out yesterday(the rubber is poking out the vavle cover now and oil just spills all over. i don't understand why this happened again...since i had this problem 2 months ago and my friend changed the valve cover seal and it was ok until 2 weeks ago when i saw oil started leaking from the vavle and then yesterday on the HWY it blew out. The first time this happened is shortly after i placed a aftermarket intake on the car, could it be the intake? could it be a breathing problem? not getting enough air? car never had no engine trouble before it. My car is parked on my driveway right now and i need your help. Please help and give your suggestions,comments etc and if you know anyone that can help me fix the problem, lemme know

maybe the valve cover isn't 100% flat so the seal around it isn't flush.... and in time that allows the rubber to be pushed out

is your crankcase breater pugged up? cuz that would cause an abundance of pressure under the valve cover and would blow out the valve cover seal!

make sure you or somebody else didnt disable the valve cover breather by plugging it with something...and I think this is the problem cuz u said you only got this problem after installing an aftermarket intake

and if you dont know what I'm talkin bout its the hose (or supposed to be hose) running from the valve cover to the intake tube...make sure its no kinked or that its there in the first place and that its not plugged at the valve cover or the intake

.. if that's the case, don't take the ghetto route: attach a hose from your crankcase to your intake. Crank breathers are not only the cheap way out, they have been known to attract $300 MoE tickets (which you WON'T win in court).
