burning videos to disc

hey guys this is what i'm trying to do i downloaded music videos from kazaa and i'm trying to put them on a disc so i can play it on my ps2 what program can i use to convert them to dvd so it can play on the ps2 and what kind of disc can i use to burn them on to

Hey what format is the video,if its mpeg u can burn it as a super video (svcd) if it comes up with an error burn as video cd(vcd), if its not mpeg format and its avi,nero will convert it but it will take some time,and ps2 doesn't play either svcd nor vcd....LoL

That's not true.

Made a few DVD movies already (DVD-R) and I have no problem playing them on my PS2.

As for those music videos, you'd need a DVD burner, discs (of course), and software.

I recommend you try DVDR Help.com for more info on this matter.

i was told i couldn't play burned stuff without a chip or something? that is good news though... blockbuster has just become my new best friend

so what your're saying is that my ps2 will play the dvd as long as it is a DVD-R like if i record a movie from tv and then put it in my ps2 it will play (stock ps2 of course)

It should, but don't blame me if it doesn't . My PS2 is the one when it was first released and I use Verbatim and Memorex DVD-Rs.

They were probably referring to games. In that case you need to "mod" the PS2 with a chip.
