So I snapped one of these!
Just when everything on my car is breaking after the winter, it just got worse.
Not sure if these are called wheel studs or not...but what do I have to replace to fix this?
Sorry for the huge picture lol

lol...this brings back memorries...
I drove with 3 lug nuts and a broken stud for about a year on the left front wheel. Nothing became of it. Simply replaced it when I did both front wheels bearings.
Which brings me to the point, on my 00 SiR I had to push out the bearing and separate the hub to install a new wheel stud. There was no other way. but from what everyone else is saying, sounds like yours is different and you can replace it without separating the whole hub.
Also, buy a torque wrench and don't torque the lug nuts past 90ft-lbs.

Cynikal is right... you cant simply pound it out and pull a new one through. You have two options
1 remove, caliper, rotor, and the hub which hold the studs (risk of ruining the wheel bearing)or
2 dye grind a channel in the knuckel to make the needed clearance
everyone that says you can just knock it out and replace hasn t had to do it on a EG other car are different

wow, i actually never knew, one could snap a stud without immense hp, i have although herd rumors that cheap quality lugs or those after flea market nuts cause these to break. but yours could be from extreme rust.
that is really bad luck, good luck on the fix, get them welded this time, and get titanium ones.

Get them welded??
So that when he breaks the ****ty aftermarket ones again he cant just punch it out??
Ive done them many times on mine and friends cars. Caused due to just age and/or corrosion.
Front wheel you have to remove the hub assembly from the spindle as the lug doesnt have clearance from behind.
Rear wheel same thing. Have to remove the Hub. Rear wheel is way easier tho cuz its just one nut under the dust cover
Thats how it is for 92-95 civics at least.
