Front right side camber bolt snapped!!!

is this even possible?

i don't track the car and drive it once in a while only...i looked my rim and tire and i was wondering why was it so in(negative camber) then i saw the camber bolt, it was just half left and its still intact though...im kinda scared to drive it fearing it may fall apart.

any help guys...?

thanks

post a pic. i'm not familiar with camber correction on the newer style. is it a cam bolt like some other macphearson strut setups or is it an upper camber plate. if it's a cam bolt, is the lower one fixed while the upper is adjustable?

^yes its a bolt...now i gotta look at it again to see if its the lower part or the upper part.

does this mean i can't drive the car right...because camber bolts are the one holding my suspension and wheels...isn't it?

i better take pics too!

cam bolt is usually in the upper of the two bolts holding the strut to the knukcle.

What brand kit do you have?

ya, it wouldn't be safe to drive it like this. you can just put the stock honda bolt back in and drive it like that. but you're right, that holds the wheel to the car basically. it might have snapped cuz it was overtightened.

Probably gunned in with an impact. I don't think the torque spec is that high. I shold re torque mine to be safe cause I know it was just gunned in.

Nothing on the front as I'm on a pro kit and adjusted within factory specs.

i have the same bolts in my car...had them put in last october...only one on each side...i put some neg camber in the front (-1.5) about a month ago and i've tracked the car with no problems...

very strange that it would just break off like that...pretty reputable company and lots of people use them for camber kits on all sorts of cars...first i've heard of one doing this...
