umm.. as stated in the subject.. the cable for my hood release has snapped so i can't get the hood open.. any suggestions? the cable has broken off right by the locking unit in the centre of the hood..

since your a newbie and your asking a question about your "hood release cable being snapped"

then way i see it you could be a thief that wants to open a hood from the exterior to disable an alarm.

i will give you 2 options.

either build your trust here and then eventually we can tell you which can take a very long time .

or

go to honda and they will open it for you or even a local mechanic since it "IS" your car you shouldnt have a problem rite?

as much as i wouldn;t mind telling you i have to take into consideration of everyone else on this board who has a civic or a honda and every person that is viewing the site aswell.
