Repost - Timing Belt Swap - $$s - ##s

Ive posted about this before. But, now it has to happen. Could you guys give me a rough idea in price. And good guys to bring the car to? Numbers would be great. And if there are any guys on this message board that own/work at a shop...please reply to this thread. This has to happen like next week so.

what gen civic do you have??
because i have a brand new timing belt that was suppose to be used for my 4th gen civic. D16y?? something. Its brand new still in packaging and its OEM honda part.

ya come to my shop will give you a good price but you know what?if you do your timming belt you are supose to change your water pump too. if you want privite message me

I'm getting mine done (waterpump timing belt for a 94 si) at a local shop for 290+ taxes, would ne one of you guys know any place in Mississauga that would do it cheaper?

I'm getting it done tomorrow, the guy was a Honda mechanic for like 10 years, then he opened his own shop, my dad actually found out about him a few years back when he got his Jetta's oil changed there. The shops called JP Auto Service its on 392 Gibraltar just off Kenedy, I'll let you know how my job goes.

Holy Old Post Batman, btw I got my timing belt done at that JP auto place (like 3 months ago lol), the guy wanted 45 bucks more for the valve adjustment, He's a good guy to go to if you're in the area.

I paid about $260ish to have all my belts changed last summer.
But I'm nowhere near the GTA.

Didn't know about the water pump though, thanks!
