And if there are any guys on this message board that own/work at a shop...please reply to this thread. This has to happen like next week so.

I'm getting it done tomorrow, the guy was a Honda mechanic for like 10 years, then he opened his own shop, my dad actually found out about him a few years back when he got his Jetta's oil changed there. The shops called JP Auto Service its on 392 Gibraltar just off Kenedy, I'll let you know how my job goes.

imported_94EG6HB 09-Jan-2003 05:48 PM

$300 at Honda..

T-Shirt Ninja 09-Jan-2003 05:59 PM

Holy Old Post Batman, btw I got my timing belt done at that JP auto place (like 3 months ago lol), the guy wanted 45 bucks more for the valve adjustment, He's a good guy to go to if you're in the area.

For timing belt, water pump, and valve adjustment? $300? that's it? You sure?

98CivicSI-Slow 10-Jan-2003 12:18 AM

KS-R how much do you think this service will cost me ?

SilverCRXSi 11-Jan-2003 12:47 AM

I paid about $260ish to have all my belts changed last summer.
But I'm nowhere near the GTA.

Didn't know about the water pump though, thanks! :)
