Questions about 99-00 civic mods

For a 99-00 civic.. how much would it cost to modify the engine to 200+hp?

Well it all depends on what way you want to go. Do you want to go N/A or with boost. Going N/A well cost more then going boost. But it all depends on what parts you buy.

Do you mean the SiR?

Regardless, a whole heap of dough. Cheapest route would be turbo. To get 200 hp NA would cost more because you have to do cams/springs/retainers, rods, pistons, port the head, really good header with full 2.5" exhaust, aftermarket intake manifold, larger throttle body....the list goes on. With a turbo you can make over 200whp with a stock b16.

and if you go the N/A route then after you get to about 180whp you realize that to get past that your B16 SiR isn't going to be road legal...

More then the car itself is worth.

If you want a 99-00 Civic with 200hp, but one that has a K20 swapped into it already.
