Suspicious...
hey yall
so im planning on trading in my civic for the same model just a 2 door so i found one on the auto trader
the price was listed as ?call
so i did i got some foreign lady that picked up the phone
she said she had NOOO idea what i was talking about and told me to give her a call back number so i did
couple hours later i get a call she said "yes i do have this car you can see it" i said "okay is it 5 spd is it power anything does it have a sunroof is it SI?" "she said she didnt know and would check AND THATS IT
thats a bit odd for someone who works in a dealership to not know WHAT theyre selling
so anyways im chillin out than my phone rings but by accident i hang up
me thinking that its that dealership calling so i called back
this time i got a dude and he knew his **** he said the car was selling for 1000 and the colour was fading and its auto AND THATS IT
literally 2 minutes later i get a call fromthe foreign lady going "yaa you wouldnt like the car its rusted on the quarters badly and its not power anything and its auto" i go "okay how much?" she says 2900 i go WTF i told her the gentleman i talked to told me it was 1000 she asks me who i talked to and i told her
after i told her she said hold on and in a rough way she said AND I QUOTE " dont talk to him he's mine" she gets back on the phone and says that i should ONLY deal with her because she talked to me first.
at this point im like WTF IS GOING ONNN
but kk point of me telling u this story is....
1) can u decipher this why were they acting so messed up, am i getting played like a fool here?
2) is this foreign lady trying to hustle me?
3) its a 95 auto 2 door black and "SUPPOSEDLY" rusted badly is 1000 a legit price (i think its as is also)
4) can a dealer sell you a car not e tested or safetied? like i thought dealers do all the registering stuff you just pay them and go?
5) how much should i ask for, for my car its a 95 civic auto 4 door green rust on the hood and quarters minor on passenger major on driver side nearing 296 xxx

1&2) That is weird. If she calls back, i'd tell her im not interested because you can't get your shiit straight. She obviously only wants the money and doesn't care about the sale.
3&5) I'd say 750-1500 depending on the condition of the wheels, brakes, etc. and mileage for either car.

i dunno theres no harm in looking so im gunna go take a look and say that i wanna talk to jason and not that other lady ill take it for a test drive and ill see if they can certify it for me (i have to register the car somehow right?) so ya if not than ill keep looking
