Smile Noob here...pics of my car.

I'm new to this board (usually on ClubSi) so I thought I'd introduce myself.
I just started a new project (EG6) and there's nothing to look at yet...so here's pics of my old project.

...where do I start?

It wasn't an easy decision. The Sol used to be a daily driver...so compromises were made in the build-up. Now its strictly a weekend car and not as practical as I need it to be. I am in the midst of tearing her apart and starting fresh on a hatch with a more 'focused' setup.

The hatch gives the advantages of being at least 400lbs lighter, infinitely stiffer and much more practical when necessary. Plus, I've always loved the look of the 5th gen hatch. In the process I lose rarity, a removeable roof, ABS, power windows and a real trunk.

I wish I could keep both  , but I just bought a house (which has its own set of $$ mods) and two project cars are not in the budget.
