Noob Here
Hey I just wanted to say hi, and I am not sure if this is the right place. So anyways, im new here. I currently own a 2001 Dodge Durango with a K&N Air Intake, a $2000 sound system, and a Magnaflow exhaust. It sits on some 22s that were previously shown on a show Durango. Anyways, im looking to buy a Civic in the near future, and am new to tuning and modding, so any help that you guys and gals could give to me will be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me or add me to MSN if you have it at Sn00zr@gmail.com. Thanks.

Wow! Many replies since my last post. Thanks to all who replied. Yea, it is kinda a gas guzzler. The main reason why I want a car is cause I want to learn standard, and cars most likely will go faster then my truck. I currently top it out at almost 180.

I'm just letting everyone know, cause I see a lot of people around here doing that. Well, anyways, any recommendations on a nice starter car? I don't want a **** box but I don't want something thats TOO nice, since I have a very small budget. Let me know.

recently there are some 96-00 hatchie going between 4000-6000, so if that's within your budget... you might get one that is pretty good... maybe roughly 120,000-180,000 and if you look hard, there might be some without rusts yet...
for 4000, higher mileage, more likely have some bubbling or minor rust, for about 6000, lower mileage, shoudl have no rusts, some chance of bubbling.
if your budget is around 2000-4000, 92-95 hatchies is your best choice.... for 2000, you should look at around 220,000 km or more with 1/4 panel rust for sure. but if you look hard enough and found a desperate seller, you might be a lucky winner. but if want to pay for a 4000 one, it better be worth the 4000, i'm talking about good mileage around 180,000-200,000 and no more... and possibly just bubbles, with some minor rusts
just look hard and you'll find a good one

Right now I have about nothing. But I am hoping to get about 5000 in the next 6 months. So, I will be looking at the forums. I have seen many great cars in the classified sections of the forums, and I guess from what I have seen I will be needing a little more for what I want.

2000 Honda Civic hatchback.
is your best option for that price.
or if you want power options you can grab a 98 or 99 coupe EX or SI model

What is power options? lol. Some del sols I see around my area are real nice. I keep seeing 2 of em. Once is orange with all white interior and white rims, looks real nice. and the other is about the same, but it has green body paint instead of orange. Oh, I forgot to mention, im about 6foot 3in, so, will space be a concern in these tiny cars?
