Clutch Problem! Need Help Please!
#41
Ok everyone so my master cylinder was leaking and my slave cylinder had a torn boot. I replaced both pieces, purged the system and adjusted the nut for proper pedal movement and it's running perfectly now! Thank-you everyone for your help!

ei guys i need help regarding clutch on a honda crx 1990. when i press the clutch and change gears it goes in smooth but when the car is running already and i press the gas i feel the engine revs up but doesn't go fast as the engine revs up. i dont know if the clutch is worn out already or some ppl told me to check the clutch fluid cylinder if empty. is there a clutch cylinder on a 90 crx? sorry guys don't know much bout cars but trying to do some. i have asked canadian tire on charges for clutch change its a reap off too $89/hr charge. any other places you recommend for cheaper price? thanks

yes that is your slave cylinder...most or all hondas use DOT4 brake fluid in thier car.. try topping up the fluid on that cylinder and pump the clutch a couple of times and then go out for a spin and try it out..to mee it sounds like your slave cylinder fluid is low so just top it up

the is only one reservoir in it, only the break fluid i i think and the clutch cable. i have also asked some pipol and said that maybe the "angle arm" that pushes the clutch which doesn't go back the way it should be when pressing the clutch that is why it slips when revs up. if weather is also very cold it is more worse than the normal situation that is happening.
thanks for inputs guys. anymore inputs would be gladly appreciated.

Or you could use a stethoscope to help hear where it's coming from.
