The last couple of months, i had the CEL light come on and off intermittently, checked it with an OBD2 scanner, and its reading a P0740 TCC malfunction code. Problem in Lock-up Control System

took it a mechanic, had a transmission fluid flushed and changed, CEL stayed off for appox 2000 kms, than return back to intermittent on and off. usually the CEL would come on around 90km/h. another transmission drain and flush, this time it didnt help. told i might need to change the transmission to fix the problem.

now i'm reading the honda tech manuals, it suggest to replace the torque converter shift solenoid as a fix. priced out the solenoid with honda, and its 280 bucks.

my question is:
anyone had similar experience with such a code?
any ideas where i would be able to find a used one?
