fit = safety checked,

unfit = safety check required meaning either you or the previous owner transfered the ownership w/o a safety check being done.

it means when the last person registered it they registered it without safety, i had the same problem when i baught the b13, even though the car was perfect, it just means while registering someone didn't get the safety so when the next owner slip is issued it shows unfit on top so no one can move the car witout getting a safety check next time round.

An unpaid ticket can take several months and sometimes a year and some before it triggers plate denial. It all depends on how quickly the town or city works in moving their paperwork along.

You'll have to produce proof that you paid the ticket. Either a receipt or a canceled check will do - your unsupported "word" that you paid is as worthless to them as it would be to a collection agency going after you for an unpaid debt.

Without that proof, your sticker just got $595 more expensive.

It sounds like the fine for parking in preferred blue label zones without a recognized handicap.

The folks equipped with wheelchairs and canes tend to get a bit ornery over that. They feel that just being ethically lame isn't enough to qualify.

Wow. Just to park somewhere more convenient or too cheap to pay for a parking spot.
