car ownership/insurance

If a car is under my name, but now, my sister has gotten a license, and I am going to give the car to her, can I put her as the primary and only driver of the policy? The car will still be in my name, but she will be driving it; I will get a new car in say three-four months, and will get insured under my name for that one. Both cars ownerships will be under my name though. Is it possible?

It is like you own 2 cars, ya I think it will work. Why not just make her secondary driver?

If you guys live in the same house, then they will ask to put you on the policy as a secondary driver, even if you give her the car ... they want to know everyone who is licenced in the house ...

As for ownerships, why would you want both? If you give her the car, her insurance will likely be cheaper than yours .... Girls usually get a break ... But you can own 2 cars, you just can't be primary on both whne other people in the house are licenced ....
