So X-Copper beat my ticket

They got my ticket for like 3 points and 20km over down to 15 over and no points just a 65 dollar charge. Im very happy with the outcome especially considering the fact that the ticket was already reduced by the officer from 4 points, and also the officer was a seargent to! Watch out for that white unmarked Volvo out in north oakville and milton guys!

Thats still a ticket, and a conviction.

Sorry to burst your bubble but you could have probably gotten the same results yourself.

Its like being pregnant, you either are or not.

this is very true...they always offer you the next level down...
so if you're in the 16-29 range they'll bump you down to a 15 over
some traffic lawyers can actually get the whole ticket dropped, depending on the situation

would it be better to plead guilty with an excuse though.. or plead not guilty and go to court?

if you want to drop your ticket down a level you dont even have to go to court...book an appointment with the justice of peace and they will offer you the bracket below the one that you are in, if you like it then you can deal with the ticket right then and there, otherwise you can book a trial date

but...you can get the same offer that the justice of peace offers you in court

always plead not-guilty... worst case scenario is you are found guilty anyway.. best case scenario, there is a donut and coffee sale down the street during your hearing.

My brother was found guilty for speeding cuz the police officer was an *** and the judge believed the officer but then my brother was like "I'm a student, I have no disposable income, my best asset is my nike shox which are 2 years old, and OSAP gave me nothing, please sir, please?" and then he talked to the officer and they dropped the ticket because the officer felt sorry for my bro lol...pure jokes
