In need of professional opinions!

Alright guys this is what happened. I was cruising on dundas with my buddy doing the speed limit when this cop car almost rams me i mean i thought i was gonne get hit from behind for sure, so i quickly switched to the right lane and some bitch cop pulls next to me gives me the dirtiest look ever then goes behind me and turns on her lights...She comes storming to my window and says shes pulling my car off the road because its unsafe...i ask her why and she tells me because my rear tires are tucking under the fender, she says she has to be able to fit 2 fingers in between for it to be "safe"...id like to point out that they are NOT tucking, they are even so you still cant fit 2 fingers.

Then she tells me shes gonna give me 2 choices...get the car towed right away or raise it and come show it to her at division 11 in a week...i obviosly chose the second one and she said if i dont show in 10 days max shes gonna come knocking on my door...Now i wanna know what my options are. Heres the thing, i dont wanna raise my car because love the way it looks right now...even if i raise it il show it to her then lower it again but the thing is she's likely to see me again and this time wont give me a second option just tow the car (ripping off all my bumpers and skirts)...

What i wanna do is fight this very very rude cop in court...do i even have that option right now? I was not aware that its illegal to have my car that low at the back, i thought cops only check the front and its only unsafe if the front is too low...ive been pulled over soooo many times and in 3 years that my cars been that low i never got any bull**** about it being unsafe and too low at the back...I really wanna keep my ride height the way it is...any suggestions?

BTW i will be in Mexico for the next week so i wont be able to reply, il just read up on ur comments when i get back guys...Thanx

read thru the HTA, i'm pretty sure there's no rule that says your rear tires can't tuck, you just have to have enough clearance at the front to be able to turn your tires and maneuver your car...

i donno who would be an expert on saftey issues tho, if you know any cops ask them, or even easier maybe go to another cop station and pretend to be interested in doing up your car and ask them some guidlines to follow so u dont' break any laws cuz your'e so concerned, see if they mention anything about the rear ride height...

I wonder if the cop will pull these things over whenever she sees one.
