i was driving like 60-70 km/h on steeles just going by brimely
just when i was approaching brimely and steeles it changed to yellow i had no choice cause my stupid el brakes sucks.. so i just stepped on it and pass it but then notice a cop behind me he pulls me over saying i ran a red light
i dont think the camera caught me because i didnt see no flash and i ran a clean yellow...theres a camera at the intersection...
wht are the possibility to drop this ticket ?
wht can i do ?
im going to fight it but do i need a lawyer ? if im going to tell them that if i did run it
can i tell them to check the camera ?


i need some help 3 dermits is alot i wanna get the points dropped and pay just the fee ! which is 180 i think !

Just explain to the JP how your brakes were bad and that you were unable to stop in time. I'm sure the JP will understand

the fact that you saw the light turn yellow and then you punched the gas to "beat" it clearly says that you had enough time to stop for it

because I took a ticket like that to court
when I did it was winter time and I tried to stop but skided through
and then before I came to a complete stop I pressed the gas cuz I was half way through already
and they still give me the ticket

I think you're only option is to be honest, and tell them that you're in a tough situation, and can't afford this on your record.

Or you can always call those Ticket Agency's to fight it for you.

Go get some brake pads keep reciept see the jp and explain the situation and how you needed brakes nad replaced them the day after if that doesnt work. File for a court date.

I have the same ticket and got it the same way that you did. I am going to go to the ticket guys pay 300 and get the points knocked off. Some times just for bringing a lawyer the JP will dismis the ticket. For me i ran the light and the cop lost sight of me i turned left and he did not see me. After i came back on the main road he pulled me over and gave me a ticket for running the red light but he was not sure that it was me that ran the light. So i might get off beceuse he lost sight of me and he was not sure. Take it to a lawyer if the points are what you are worried about a lawyer will do that for you and tell them that you are poor to the fine will be knocked down to. What ever you do dont lie and be honest.

Don't run reds! TRY to stop and they'll see you put effort in to it and probably give you a break and make fun of your car...
Just because the "camera" is there it doesn't mean the camera is in the box. They move them around the city. it's stupid but they do. You can't tell them to check it. They won't do it.
Talk to the JP or hire the ticket guys... FTW
