I got a ticket for failing to wear a seatbelt last year and my court date is May 30. I just dont want the points. Is there a way to just pay the fine?

I wanted to take my button up shirt off ( i had another shirt underneath) and i got to a red light at an intersection so i decided to remove my seatbelt to take my shirt off. By the time i got the shirt off the lights turned green so i started to move with the traffic. As i put my seat belt back on a police cruiser drove past me on the other side of traffic and he saw me putting the seatbelt on. Thats when he did a U wie and pulled me over. I had my g/f wid me on the passenger side.

What are my options? I was thinking of going to x coppers to represent me, but its like 3 times the ticket fine. I really just dont want the points. Should i plead guilty/w explanation or not guilty.
I think the plead guilty/w explanation wouldn't be an option anymore since i took it to court, but i'm not sure.

In this case, honesty is your best policy. Bring your GF as a witness, and just let them know how it is.

Hot day, you decided to take off your shirt quickly, etc... and it was just bad time / place.
