hi i have an inpropper mufler ticket im fighting in court on the 21st of september


what i need is some muflet stats like that the mufler confides with california spesifications or even ontario speks


the mufler i had was a no name brand and it was a 4'' crome round tip


i need any thing u guys can give me the cop never looked at hte mufler or measured it or anthing


so i need the info asap and for any type or make of mufler that is kinda round and chrome


its just anothe bs ticket it wasent even that loud i had my stock pipe cat and rez it was just an axel back


il give 10$ to whoever can get me a coppy of some lagit stats i wil even give them back 2 u if i can take them the origonals or something thanks guys

you can't use that in court i tried.. i had a letter from magnaflow.. for some reason your not allwoed to... jus tell the judge u had emissions done after the install of the muffler.. thats what i did and i got off

Pictures and letters can be used in a court. However you have submit them early on. I'm not sure if how many days or weeks in advance they need them. Drop by your local courthouse and ask them the procedures for bringing in pictures, letters etc.

My day is on the 15th of Dec. and I plan on submitting photo's of the intersection. Judges enjoy some 'entertainment' sometimes.

if he didin't pull out nothing to test your muffler out with then he has nothing and you'll win...usually cops dont' win muffler tickets, it's just bs , espeically if you past e-test

yea he never toutched my car he checked under the hood 4 mods and wanted 2 see my batery in my trunk ????

i duno wtf a batery has 2 do with a cop ???

ok il just tell them that it was etested with the aftermarket mufler on it wasent even loud thats what i dont get

I have to ask, why do you guys even fight these types of tickets? Its not a moving violtation so there is no points and the fine is usally minimal. Doesnt it cost you more in gas to drive to the court and loose a day of work then it does just to pay the ticket? If youve got a loud exhaust then either fix it or live with the tickets.

that's why you keep on delaying the court date until YOU are free
and probably if we were all like you and never went to court with these kind of probelms then cops would have been giving out these tickets even more, because they would think "hey, these guys never fight muffler tickets, so why not keep giving em"

Actually if you were like me then you would be smart and run a resonator and not get an improper muffler ticket in the first place and you also wouldnt be a huge annoyance for all your neighbours. I have never had ticket nor have I ever been questioned for anything on my car because I mod smartly and cleverly.

any mufler other than stock is ilegal even if the car came with a pipe cut streight and u put a tip that points down on it its now ilegal if the cop is a ****ing ******* like my guy was he can give u a ticket

i've never had a improper muffler ticket, anyways, loud as a exhaust on a civic can be, everyone knows that harleys are much much louder = they never get pulled over that being said, it is a bullsihit ticket...

for the record i have a very quiet exhaust

I just got Pulled over and ticketed for Improper muffler... for my 5zigen on my CRX... I was comming back for TO to Barrie.

here is the kicker... I am not an Ontario Resident, My car is registered in N.B. I have N.B. plates, N.B. liscence and my car is 100% legal in NB. I have a month old inspection to Prove it.

I got to school in Barrie, so It's no like I'm doing anything wrong... but I have to give a call to the Crown to have this dismissed... I have better things to do with 110$
