i just got a ticket for blue bulbs, euor tails, expired insurance.. wtf??? jsut my night..... stupid insurance hasn't mailed me this months copy... fvcken pigs have nothing better to do... damn... just my luck

are your bulbs tinted blue........ or do they emit blue light?


do your euro's have all the proper reflecters......... and do you have the legal colored bulbs in them? as cool as it may look....... blue turn signals is asking for trouble


as for your insurance........ your company should have mailed a new card out to you before your old one expired........ if you notice your card is going to expire and you havn't got a new card yet, call them and ask them to type up a temp. card........ its free and keeps you out of trouble.


best thing you can do about the tickets is.........

headlights........ take it to a justice of the peace and say that you didnt know your headlights were a problem.......... however you have since then changed them to a legal color ( white )

taillights........ if your euro's are 100% legal....... take pictures and go to court......... if they arent, make them legal...... and go to the justice of the peace again........ and say everything is fixed

insurance........ nothing you can really do about it...... except try the justice of the peace again, and see if they'll lower it

Insurance card is ok, just show them the updated one when you go to court and it'll get thrown out. I did just that Had a 3 month old expired card and told the officer that I forgot to change it. Still gave me the ticket but told me to bring it to court.

how do i know if my euro's are legal?? they have the proper bulbs in it.. they are stock bulbs.... officer said it was white!! whatever taht means.... the signal ligths do they have to be the amber color ones or a white celar bublb is fine???
one last thing, taking this to court.. i see i have a two options.. 1)guilty with explantion or 2) set a trial date.. which one do i do???

for your tail light singal lights have to be red or amber .... not white white is for backup lights and therefore could confuse someone

SITUATIONS IS THIS.... MY BROTHER WAS DRIVING BUT IT WAS MY CAR..... HE HAD THE TICKET FOR THE BLUE LIGHTS IN HAMILTON BEFORE.... NOW THIS ONE HE GOT WAS IN SAUGA... CAN I GO BULLSHIT AND SAY HE DIDN'T KNOW?? I MEAN WILL THE SAUGA COURT HAVE THE RECORD THAT HE HAD THIS TICKET ELSE WHERE ALREADY??? MY BRO TELL'S ME THIS NOW.......:fustrated

right now i have the white part signaling at hte back.. so if i change it around to have the white part on when my lights are on and have the red round part signaling then it will be fine???

how about the front signals? can it be all white or blue tint but blink white??

you cant just switch the white lights so that they stay on because you're not supposed to have any white light at the back of your car unless you are reversing

as for the front, white and amber are fine. if your lights have a blue tint on them it should be ok since they are not the headlights and as long as they emit white light (put a white piece of paper in front of the light and if you can see any blue then that's illegal).

damn.. so my altezzas are no good.. i have 2 openings for light to go into... one into the red round part and the other which is below that is just a clear light... and that goes on when my ligths are on.. so there for the red part will signal..

if i switch it the other way then the clear part will now signal but htat's illegal too aint it??

so i'm screwed either way.....

it's wierd..my stock lights had 3 openings...... these altezzas has only 2.. the two bigger bulbs fit but the smaller one is just danglling back there...

what should i do???

i say u bomb the pig pen (police station), giving u a tocket for altezza isn't making rod safer..i dun care what anyone says...this is all suck bullshit a new lexus bmw benz all hae super white lights....that ARE BLUE BULBS, that ommit white light...but if we buy the EXACT same bulbs its illegal..**** U...
