well, I'd still tell them about it .... you never know, I've covered rims in claims I've had before ..... Like I said, It alldepends on how of a hard *** you adjuster is ..... pray to god you get a guy..... cause (typically) female adjusters don't have a clue about cars or the aftermarket products available to them so they won't give a rats *** about your rims .... I know an adjuster at Wawaneesa, hopefully you get him cause he's into car modding himself ..... Usually auto thefts go to senior adjusters, which typically mean older adjusters (i use to take thefts but I'm out of the auto dept now)

It could take 1 week or 1 month depending on home fast your adjuster is ....... They may ask you to sign a proof of loss, which makes the claim official and on record - once you sign and date the proof, they have 60 days to settle the claim ..... Ususally they ask you to sign a proof if they think you are hiding something .....

gcivic, no your premiums would not increase..... the only way you can have your premiums increase for a claim is if you have an at fault accident covered under your collision - comp claims don't usually increase your premiums unless you have an abnormal amount of them ....

Even an at fault collision can be waived depending on the amount of years (clean), and claims you have had.

True, they may way your first claim if you have had a clean record for some time, but usually they'll ask you (before) if you want to buy a claims free endorsement which means you get one at fault claim free without it effecting your insurance
