Looks like im getting a note from a mechanic, but its soo vague improper muffler.

get a note saying you switched back to stock (that's what I did)

or that exhaust was tested and it meets all highway traffic act regulations

ya note from licenced mechanic and or a decibal reading from licenced mechanicic proving it under the legal decibal reading. As for the licence plate takes piics of it being on the car and bring them with you its worth a shot. i got two no licence plates droppped by just bringing in pics that it was fixed

An exhaust isn't illegal because of the noise level it produces, the 'look' of the exhaust is also illegal.

"hollywood style" exhaust is quoted in the highway traffic act.

Thats why I got my ticket; the look of my exhaust.

very true, bt i have a Vibrant stealth muffler doesnt look very "Hollywood" to me lol
