***Need Legal Representation***

I'm hoping someone on this board can help me out.

On Monday morning my wife (who is 36weeks pregnant) was involved in a single vehicle accident, thankfully she wasn't badly injured and the baby is fine. The vehicle however rolled over a few time and is a write-off, I dont really care about the car, all that mattered was that my wife and baby where fine.

She was charged with careless driving. The accident took place on Whitevale rd & Sideline 24 in Pickering. The car skid off the road and into a ditch due to the road conditions (fresh gravel). There where no witness' to the the accident. I don't believe she should be charged with anything, the officer claims that she had to be speeding.. I know my wife she woudnt have been speeding especially since she is pregnant.

Is there anyone here that can refer me to a lawyer/paralegal rep that wont screw with me?

Any help is appreciated.

I don't have any advice or recommendations, sorry. Just wanted to say it's good to read that your wife and baby are ok after this whole thing happened. Certainly hope everything goes alright with the legal stuff and that any hassles get worked out quickly.

The officer is kind of right, there has to be a charge when theres an accident. But what charge they hand out is up to them. Take it to court and im 99% sure you can get reduced to something like "leaving the roadway".
