how do you replace a wheel stud/bolt

one of my wheel studs got threaded to ****...how i do not know. what i want to know is how to replace one, does it involve taking of the whole rotor or is there a simpler way? thanks

I've done it on a eg, I dont know if its the same on an ek. But you can hammer out the old stud through the back of the hub if you rotate it around to the right spot. It may be easier if you cut the stud a bit shorter, but make sure you can knock it out first. Mine was broken so one hit with the hammer and it fell out. Putting the new one in is a bit tricky and you will probably mess the threads up a bit. I did and just re-cut them with the lug nut a few times before I put the wheel on.

Hope this is the same for an ek.

edit: you have to rotate the caliper off and take the disc off.

I changed them on my 95.
I took off the caliper and rotor. Then grinded down the metal behind the wheel hub that prevents you from poping the old ones out and putting the new ones in. I did the grinding so that the new ones will go in easy without risking the chance of screwing up the thread. When the new one is in put a bunch of washers on it and tighten a lug nut so it goes in all the way and straight.
When you actually take a look for yourself it will make more sense.
