Angry Broke a stud, how to replace?

I was trying to do a simple brake pad change yesterday and well... one of the front right lugs wouldn't come off no matter what so I didn't have a choice, I had to break the stud. Does anyone know how to go about changing this? I know I can just knock it out and replace the broken one, but how do I take the front hub out? (the plate containing 4 studs that sits behind the rotor)

I got to as far as taking out the spindle nut then it was like impossible to change the stud witout taking out the front hub and it looks like some special retracting tool is needed to take it out or else its impossible. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks.
